About me

Hi, I'm Lucas.

I'm a software engineer based in Denver, Colorado. I was born in Brooklyn and grew up about fifteen minutes from where Woodstock happened, studied in Rochester, New York, and moved west to Denver in 2020 for work.

When I'm not writing code you'll usually find me chasing light with a camera, playing guitar, trying to find something to do outdoors.

Hobbies

Photography

Started with a Nikon D5600 in college; these days I shoot nature on a Fujifilm X-T5 while travelling, camping, and hiking.

Guitar

Playing since 2013 — self-taught, with one year of formal lessons.

Video games

Single-player is my go-to, but I'm always up for some co-op with friends.

Two dozen dogs and counting

Since 2022, my wife and I have fostered more dogs than we can easily count. Meet the crew that's passed through our living room.
